Root Samsung Galaxy Y S5360 aka Young

Running on Android 2.3.5 and Android 2.3.6 versions.

• Download Update.Zip file below attachment and copy the Update.zip file in to the root of the SD Card.
• Switch off your mobile phone
• After the complete phone switched off, go to recovery mode. For this recovery mode, hold the power, volume up and the home buttons simultaneously.
• Now can navigate through recovery mode only with the volume up and down buttons. Select Update.zip and the root will be applied on your Galaxy Y.
• Reboot your phone and it's rooted!! You can check for an application named "Super User" to check whether your phone is rooted or not.

How to Root Alcatel OT-991/D

Rooting either Alcatel 991 or 991D (D for Dual sim) is a dream of everybody to move away from the slow ROM and Install a faster ROM like Vesta ROM.

All you need is;

• Alactel Drivers you can get them from OT-991/D Drivers

• Download root image from Root 991D Image
• Then download super user from Super User

After you’ve downloaded the above now Install the Alcatel One touch manager Then Unzip Root_991 Zip.
Open the Folder and Open SP_Flash_Tool_v2.1134.00 then click on Flash Tool.
Switch your phone off before loading the Scatter on (Scatter Loading File) Make sure your phone is not connected to the computer.

After loading the scatter 2 warnings will appear just click ok and Load the image-To load image Check on the box [BOOTIMG] and double click on it,it will take you to [Root 991] page select [new-boot.img] Click on Download at the Top Centre and wait for 13 seconds then connect your phone.
A yellow strip on the bottom will run from 0-100% and an OK will appear.
Disconnect phone now Rooting with Super One click Connect your phone while you have powered on click on super one click and allow it to run as Admin. On the Top click on Root and it will install super user and Busybox
